After researching for about 5 months, i decided to get a dodge durango. I felt that the dodge offered the most for my money. Shaver Auto (thousand oaks) and Glen Thomas dodge (long beach) both had a sale on a 2012 dodge durango citadel. I decided to go with Shaver Auto, because of their internet manager Brenton Mclauglin. He went above and beyond the call of duty to make the sale. His no bs approach was welcoming. He gave a price and i said "lower" he worked for me and got it lowered at a great apr. There were now games and no sleazy car dealers here. I live about 1 hour away from Shaver and only 10 mins away from glen thomas but gave my business to Shaver because Brenton treated me like a person and not a profit margin. He even drove the car down and delivered it to me. How about that for customer service? if you want a no haggle car buying experience where they treat you like you mean something, then i highly recommend Shaver Auto. Ask for Brenton and you will not be disappointed. More

Also, when it finally came time for me to pick up my Wrangler, even though we had already negotiated a final price, John McCann worked with me on a discount, even though the delay was no fault of their own. Brenton was also very flexible with me in terms of dealing with my hectic schedule to arrange a time to come drive the car. When I finally got up to the dealership, Brenton was very professional and fair in our dealings and made me feel comfortable. I walked away thrilled with my new vehicle and the price I paid for it! Andrew was great. I was a bit of a hardnose to start and he didn't give up on me. He ended up being very easy to deal with. My only complaint was that he was so busy because he was good to work with. I contacted the dealer via the internet. Tim Ott happened to be the person to respond to my request for information. I asked several questions, detailed the type of Jeep Cherokee I was interested i happened to be the person to respond to my request for information. He asked me a few questions to clarify my request, and searched the inventory at Shaver, in addition to looking at the available vehicles at other dealers. A visit to the dealership was next. We drove around to see the available Jeeps, and I saw a dark gray one that looked like it would be fine. It was equipped exactly as I wanted. I decided to make the purchase. Tim spent lots of time with me, going over the numerous features on the vehicle. And answered many questions posed to him. He was very patient and understanding. Details of my trade in were worked out to my satisfaction. I saw Ira Dauer in the finance department to finalize the purchase. This went smoothly. Within a short time I happily drove home in my new Jeep. The buying experience was stress free, and pleasant and I would recommend the Shaver dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle that is available there. More
