My wife and I have been looking for a CUV for some time and after being disappointed by the new BMW X3, we decided to give RX350 a try. I got callbacks almost instantly but most are just dealers that want me to visit the showroom except Sheehy of Annapolis and one other dealer. These 2 dealers email me the window sticker of the RX350 I wanted right away and are willing to accept my first asking price which is below invoice price. So why did we choose Sheehy Lexus of Annapolis instead of other dealer? Dealer reputation based on customer reviews. If someone ever uses tripadvisor for hotels and yelp for restaurants, you know what I am talking about. We went to Annapolis to pick up the car only 2 days after I started the search on the internet. Shandrial, our sales associate has the RX350 in front and it has 2 miles as she promised in the email. After a quick test drive she has started on the paperwork so that we can beat the rush hour traffic home. I took the chance of asking her to see if we can trade in our current car - thinking it is a long shot since they already gave us such a great deal on the RX350, they must want to make money off us from the trade-in. But they offered the same trade-in value I had in mind from research done via edmunds.com. This is icing on the cake. Not only we got to pick up the new 2011 RX350 which beats Q5 and X3 by miles (we are current BMW owners and test drove the Q5), we don't have to worry about selling the old car ourselves. By now, I thought to myself this is too good to be true and there could be surprise when we step into finance office. Guess what - it took us 5 minutes to sign all paperwork and there is no up sell of any warranty or service. Even as I am typing this review, I can not help but thinking how professional, honest and easy going Shandrial and her dealership is and she seems genuinely want to be there and make her customers' car buying experience as pleasant as possible. This is such a different experience than we had from German and Japanese car dealerships inside beltway, we will give Sheehy Lexus of Annapolis first dibs when we are ready to uprade our other car. Everything about this car buying experience was what I'd expect from Lexus... professional, couteous, prompt, AND forthright. I then used both the Consumer Reports and USAA buying services to locate a dealership only to find they both provided the exact same information... three Lexus dealerships within 150 miles of my home, but none were within 50 miles. That is, the local Lexus dealerships did not make the list. I contacted the three dealerships in the buying service via e-mail and checked their inventory online. I also filled out an online Request For Information with the local Lexus dealership. The dealerships in the Buying Service were all professional & couteous, and promptly followed up. Each quoted a very reasonable, set price above the dealer invoice. I called the local dealership (not in the buying service) and got all the typical car sales hassle. I then found a vehicle that most closely matched my requirements at Lexus of Annapolis (one of the three in the buying service) and gave Ms. Tara Wilson a call. I was so impressed I drove over three hours (over 150 miles) the following weekend (passing dealerships in Newport News, VA, Richmond, VA, and Alexandria, VA) to meet with her and complete the purchase. She made the entire buying experience a pleasure...no hassle, no games, just professional presentation of the product and forthright discussion regarding costs and options. She even showed me the invoice price of the vehicle. We closed the deal that day and a week later she DELIVERED the vehicle to my home, over 150 miles away from Annapolis. Wow. When it comes time to acquire my next vehicle (after I finish paying for this one), I'll be looking for Tara Wilson and Lexus of Annapolis. More
For the past almost 6 years, I have always had my RX400h serviced at Sheehy Lexus of Annapolis and the service experience has been phenomenal. Yesterday was my first purchase of a car at this dealer and the experience was AWESOME, from beginning to end. Chris List was professional, knowledgeable, and focused on customer service and customer satisfaction. It was the best auto purchase I have ever experienced. Everything was done seamlessly and Chris was just the best, he answered all of the questions, knew the car, and did not pressure! He let us take our time making the decision on which vehicle we wanted, was helpful when needed, and quiet when he was not needed. Once we made the decision to buy, he turned us over to Chris Willis, who was equally professional and who also explained everything that we needed to know. Hats off to Sheehy Lexus of Annapolis for their incredible team of professionals, both in service and now in sales. I would, without any hesitation, recommend them for service or purchase. Some years ago a friend bought a Lexus and I asked him why. His response: when I am in the dealership, the world stops spinning - I am the only person on the universe! From the Sales Manager, Doug King(working with me for a solid deal), to the extremely sincere and knowledgeable Sales Associate Kelly Hollis (Who assisted me in the search, and entire process), right to the Financial Manager Chris Powell (who made the final steps as painless as possible), the entire time I was completely impressed. From quality customer service, the no "pushy" or "rushed" service, and excellent value I received from trade-in to new purchase. When it is time for me to get a new vehicle I will certainly return back. I Love my new 2010 Lexus IS 250 AWD, and will be back in the future for my Frequent complementary Car Wash! More

She followed up when the car I wanted was available; she drove to my house to help transport one of the cars in trade and drove back the next day to train me on the features of the new car and how to use them. I was given a fair price for both cars in trade and the new vehicle. Buying a car from Shandrial and the team at Lexus was a pleasurable, no hassle, and no pressure experience. This is the third Lexus I have purchased in the last 10 years. Their service department and delivery of a loaner vehicle to your home, is another compelling reason to do business with Sheehy Lexus. In the course of this research our contact information was shared with Sheehy Lexus of Annapolis. We received a very warm e-mail message from Shandrial Hudson letting us know that the dealership would be delighted to talk with us further. We planned to visit dealerships for several types of cars over the President's Day weekend to test drive cars and get pricing information and then to subsequently make a buying decision over the several weeks following our visits. We had in mind a price we wanted to pay and an ideal amount we'd like to get for our old SUV on trade-in. We decided to start with Sheehy Lexus because the dealership was close to our home - and we planned to go on to other dealerships from there. When we arrived at the dealership, we asked for Shandrial. She was with other customers, but could not have been more gracious. She got us coffee and checked with us several times while we waited. The dealership was very busy but she made sure we didn't feel abandoned. When our turn came, Shandrial gave us her undivided attention, really listening to what we said about what we wanted in a car. That very much surprised me - our car buying experiences have more often involved the sales person pushing to sell the cars available at the time whether they were what we wanted or not. We test drove a Lexus 350 SUV - equipped exactly as we wanted, and Shandrial came with us. She suggested that each of us take the car for the full test drive loop so we both had a good feel for it. And when we expressed some concern about whether the car would fit in our garage, she said that, since we lived close by, we should drive the car to the house and try it in the garage! We did and felt much better knowing it fit! She was able to answer all our questions, and in fact pointed out a number of features about the car of which we were unaware. When we arrived back at the dealership, we were prepared for the usual negotiation (or more precisely, fight) over price. Instead, after our old SUV was evaluated, we were offered a very reasonable price for it (truth be told, a little more than we expected), and Shandrial (or I guess actually Sheehy) was able to offer a better price on the Lexus 350 than the buying service price. Well, to make a long story short, we never visited the other dealers or looked at the other cars. We bought the car that afternoon and went home with it. This was certainly the most pleasant car-buying experience my husband and I have ever had. We were listened to and treated well; we didn't feel pressured; we were offered a fair price for our old car and a fair price was asked for the new car. And I can not say enough about the professionalism of Shandrial Hudson. She is really everything one could hope for in a salesperson. And, in fact, has followed up with us just to make sure everything is going well with the car. I would recommend Sheehy Lexus without reservation! More
