Sheehy Subaru of Springfield is different from any other dealership I've bought cars from...an integrated Sales Team/Service Team approach. Most dealerships have the "hand-off" or "Union" concept....Salesman sells the car, Finance nickel & dines you with extra, Service fixes the car. At Sheehy, the Salesman works closely with Sevice (even after the sale) to make sure the customer is happy....and it works at this dealership! The Salesman (Reggie) made sure I was happy with service; Service (Jessi) did a follow up with the salesman to confirm service was complete and customer was satisfied. Wow, what a concept...make sure the customer is happy with every aspect of the Subaru experience! Can't wait until Sheehy Subaru moves to their new Backlick Facility....more room and I'm sure same great sales and service. More

I had gone through numerous unsatisfying car shopping/buying experiences over the preceding 9 months before working with Sheehy and all of them were often underwhelming, frustrating, sometimes dubious, and just overall significantly less pleasant. In contrast, Sheehy's prompt, thorough, accurate, highly responsive, and friendly contacts with me (via email and over the phone) as I evaluated and prepared for my purchase was a clear indication of this dealership's solid integrity and customer-focused competencies and those of the Sales team I worked with (Eddie and Chris). Knowing what I wanted going in they didn't waste my time and delivered what they promised at each stage of the vehicle purchase. Even after the purchase, the team remained friendly and attentive to the few remaining vehicle details needing minor attention. I would easily shop here again even though its not the closest Subaru dealer to me—it was by far the best staffed. More
Online Buying From Sheehy Subaru is Superb! I had a great time buying a car from Chris LaPorte and Eddie Beans from Sheehy Subaru. In this day and age of online shopping and Carmax, these two I had a great time buying a car from Chris LaPorte and Eddie Beans from Sheehy Subaru. In this day and age of online shopping and Carmax, these two have totally embraced the process of online car buying. I test drove the Forrester and the Outback at my local Subaru dealership in Maryland. After test driving the cars, I decided to put out feelers to all the Subaru dealerships in the area online for the Outback. Although my local dealership gave me a pretty good up-front offer, I wanted to shop it out. I filled out the form on their dealership's website and Eddie and Chris reached out immediately (note that I'm still getting reply's from the other dealerships after a week of filling out their forms). Not only did they put out an offer that met my criteria, they were very good at letting me know that they wanted my business. Answering little questions at 12:30 AM, these guys were dedicated and responsive. At the end, they gave me the best offer without even stepping into the dealership yet! Once I said I was coming in, they had the car and paperwork ready for me and it was the easiest car-buying process I have ever gone through. Highly recommend and just a little nugget that Chris LaPorte is one of the top 5 Subaru salesmen in the country and it shows. More
Think I might be a Subaru owner for life now. Being in the military I’m always nervous when I PCS to a new location. I’m use to dealing with small town dealerships and every experience with a dealerships outside of that have been a disaster. This has been the first time I’ve purchased a vehicle in which I wasn’t taken for a ride so to speak. The dealership went out of their way to work with me to get my wife into a better car. Previously, I have only bought Volkswagens for my wife, but this has turned me into a loyal Subaru owner. The biggest surprise is how the dealership was able to blow USAA out of the water on a car loan. Now I’m making payments on a car that is far cheaper then what I was leasing my wife’s GTI for. The overall experience was great, and I’m impressed that the sales staffs were so knowledgeable of their cars. I’ve gone to numerous dealerships in which I get the blank stare when I start asking questions on a car. Larry didn’t miss a beat and knew the cars inside and out. Shows that they have a lot of confidence in the cars they sell. I will defiantly come back when it comes time to get rid of my Jetta and looking forward into getting another Subaru. Can’t wait to have a 2015 WRX parked next to my wife’s Crosstrek in the garage. More

He was friendly, fair and best of all gave me the space and time I needed to think about whether I wanted to make a purchase. I never felt pressured to buy the car. In the end, I walked off the lot with a wonderful used Subaru and I couldn't be happier. The day was great (which I never though I would say about a day spent looking for a car)! More

I had dreamed of owning a WRX but My girlfriend and I recently purchased two new Subarus from Chris a FORESTER for her and IMPREZA Sport for myself. I had dreamed of owning a WRX but due to an injury could not drive a manual trans. for long periods. We both were enjoying our new SUBARUS it was a snowy winter and our vehicles provided great confidence. Chris called me one day with the news that Subaru was to offer 2015 WRX with auto trans. Chris ordered one for me to my specifics and about six weeks later it was like CHRISTMAS !! Brandon secured a great financing deal for me also I am very pleased with my new purchase. I can assure you that eve I chose to work with Chris LaPorte of Sheehy Subaru based on the many great reviews I found of him and Sheehy Subaru online. I can assure you that every great review you find about Chris is spot on. I first met him April 6th. We talked about my likes and needs. With in minutes found the right car but the wrong color. After a no pressure test drive we worked up numbers and had reached an agreement. Again only problem was they didnt have the color I wanted. Chris said no problem he will find it. He did and last night on the 11th I picked up my new crosstrek. Arrived at Sheehy at 5:45PM and by 6:45 Chris and Brandon had our paper work done and we were ready to hit the road. Only problem now was getting my wife to get out of the new 2015 Forester. Looks like we could be paying Chris another visit really soon. All fun aside Chris and the staff as Subaru are as no pressure as they come. I would recommend Chris and Sheehy Subaru to anyone!!! More

It was a terrific experience compared to every prior purchase at other dealerships. We've recommended Larry to several friends. When it came time for a second Subaru purchase, we went back and asked for Larry. The Sheehy dealership is good, but Larry makes it great. The process was as satisfying as the first time. He was friendly, available, informative, and not pushy. He worked with us to get the deal we needed. We even returned to learn more about the features on the car, which he patiently explained. When it comes time for the next car purchase, we will go back to Larry and consider yet another Subaru. More

I was really happy that we weren't put under pressure to purchase a vehicle, and the decision felt like it was ours to make. Going in, we knew we wanted a Subaru Forester, and the staff was able to work with us to get a price we could afford. Larry was incredibly helpful with answering any questions that we had regarding the car, and making sure that we understood all the great features that it offered. We really appreciated the time he took with us to go through the manual, explaining the features of the car. Brandon was excellent as well, and was able to get us approved with a great interest rate. He was very thorough with explaining all the options and went through the paperwork precisely and quickly. All in all, we are just thrilled with the experience we had, and will definitely go back for any future Subaru purchase we will make. More
