Purchasing a car from Shelor Motors was about as easy as I could have expected. Corey was very helpful and patient with us, even though we got there only a few minutes before closing. He waited on us, allowed us to take our time trying the car out and looking it over. He also, without making us feel rushed, tried to speed up the paperwork process so we could finish everything up and leave before it was too late (we left the dealership around 9:45 or so with a long trip back to Winston-Salem ahead of us). On top of that, Corey filled the tank for our trip, which was a very nice to see when we got in the car for the ride home. Upon looking at the car the next morning, we found a couple of things that were minor issues. Corey worked with us over the phone and we came to a compromise on what we need to be fixed and what we could live with. Overall, the experience of buying a car from Shelor Motors and Corey was much easier than past car buying experiences. As to the rating above, I selected "N/A" for "Quality of Work" as we had no work done by the dealership to the car after seeing it. I have several friends who have purchased vehicles from Shelor in the past so I decided to give them a shot. I went in just looking at vehicles to determine what I would be interested in. Tim was very help Shelor in the past so I decided to give them a shot. I went in just looking at vehicles to determine what I would be interested in. Tim was very helpful in this regard, I knew that I wanted to see some Equinoxes and XTerra's. Tim pulled up the inventory on both, and I chose 2 to test drive. I decided I really liked the Equinox so Tim did everything he could to make me satisfied with the price of the vehicle. I was very impressed and very pleased with the service that I received there. They had plenty of refreshments available, and even had the football game I was wanting to watch on the TV so I got to see most of it while I was waiting on paperwork to go through. After I decided to purchase, Tim drove me over to the business center and made sure I was comfortable there and got everything put together for me. He also drove me around the dealership and showed me where everything was, and then provided me with the supplies needed to clean out my old car and to get into the new one. In short, it was a very easy process and I was very pleased with the service and help that I received at the dealership. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to purchase a new or used vehicle! More

I would recommend Shelor to someone who lives in Christiansburg, VA. But to drive out of your way to get the same treatment you would in your own town, there is no point in it. They do not use Car Christiansburg, VA. But to drive out of your way to get the same treatment you would in your own town, there is no point in it. They do not use CarFax which costed us a trade in car, trade in truck, and about $3,000 on a car that costed $2500 more to start with. Simply because after seeing the carfax they couldnt give me anymore than 2,000 less than what I owed on it after owning it for 2 and a half months. It is my fault though and we really got the stuck. I will never do business there again, nor will I support them by using their key chains or car decals. More
