Poor service after the sale I purchased a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 33K miles from Shelor on 1/24/2015, and my salesman was Joe Pinto. If you decide to purchase a vehicle fr I purchased a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 33K miles from Shelor on 1/24/2015, and my salesman was Joe Pinto. If you decide to purchase a vehicle from Shelor, I can certainly recommend Joe. He was very good to work with and was the only one at the dealership that would consistently return my calls. About one week into ownership, the vehicle failed to start reliably. As a remedy, Shelor suggested I change the batteries in the remotes. I have to say this left me scratching my head a bit, but I did as they suggested with no success. After 3 weeks, the vehicle would not start at all, and I had it towed to Shelor at my expense. Shelor indicated that the issue was a faulty fuel pump relay, and they corrected the issue by hacking up the wiring harness and installing an external relay in lieu of replacing the bad part. As the manufacturer’s warranty had expired, I assumed this repair would be covered under the 90-day warranty Shelor provided with the vehicle, but I was wrong. Interestingly no one at Shelor can tell me why the repair isn’t covered. I’ve called both Service Advisor Bobby Coleman and Sales Manager Michael Rose almost a month ago and am still waiting for a return call. My purchase experience with Shelor was good, but service after the sale has fallen well short of my expectations. More

Easily best experience I've had. I've bought multiple new and used and this was easily the best experience with a car dealer I've ever had. I worked with Bowie Clift then Ben Brown and both were extremely helpful. I'd recommend any person looking for a vehicle to contact those two first before venturing to any other dealer or salesman. I did most of my paperwork and negotiating before I even pulled onto Shelor's lot thanks to Bowie. Ben was courteous, timely and went over everything very thoroughly. Again from someone who's probably bought 7 to 8 vehicles from multiple dealers this was easily the best experience. More
