The sales staff at Sherwood Groves helped us turn a very negative experience at another dealership into a very positive one. Their small town values were just what we needed to seal the deal and provide us with a vehicle that far exceeded our expectations. And much to our surprise, they were able to figure out insurance and financing on a Saturday afternoon so we could take the car with us as we headed back to New York State. That meant we wouldn't need to drive back to PA just to pick up the car. I can't say enough about how efficient and professional the staff is. In the end, we were glad the deal from the other dealership fell through because it lead it us to Sherwood Groves. Unethical Purchased a pre-owned vehicle to be registered out of state - drove home on a temporary tag. Shortly thereafter the dealership mailed me a title with the previous owners name and address still listed on the title. Much to my surprise, they also sent me a document containing the previous owners DATE OF BIRTH & SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. Shortly after mailing this CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION back to the address listed on the title I received a telephone call from the dealership advising that I should not have contacted the previous owner, that I should contact the dealer (apparently the previous owner was less than pleased). As consumers, we often provide this type of information when purchasing a vehicle, The purpose of this review is to advise potential customers that Sherwood Groves does not protect the privacy and confidentiality of their customers.
