I purchased a 2022 Dodge Charger Widebody from Shoreline Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and initially had a very positive experience. The sales staff and the sales manager I worked with were professional, responsi Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and initially had a very positive experience. The sales staff and the sales manager I worked with were professional, responsive, and clearly tried to help resolve the issue, so this review is not directed at them. Unfortunately, things changed after bringing the vehicle in under warranty for a road vibration issue. The car originally came equipped with two-piece Brembo front rotors, but during the warranty repair the dealership replaced them with one-piece rotors, which is a downgrade from the configuration the vehicle was sold with. The biggest issue for me is not just the parts themselves, but the lack of communication and the decision-making at the management level. At no point was there a conversation with me before the dealership installed different equipment on the vehicle. If the dealership planned to replace a factory two-piece rotor setup with a one-piece rotor, that absolutely should have been discussed with the customer first. Instead, I discovered the change after the fact and had to raise the concern myself. To be clear, the sales manager I spoke with did listen and attempted to escalate the issue, but the final outcome appears to be a management decision. It’s disappointing that the General Manager would allow a situation like this to escalate over something that should have been a straightforward conversation with the customer. This is a $46,000 vehicle with only 27,000 miles, and anyone purchasing a performance vehicle like a Dodge Charger Widebody would reasonably expect that if a component is replaced under warranty, it would at minimum be replaced with the same type of component the vehicle originally came with. What started as a great buying experience has unfortunately turned into a very frustrating and dismissive post-sale experience. I hope management at the dealership reconsiders how situations like this are handled in the future. More

Sometimes there are unfortunate circumstance that occur and present themselves in a way which on the surface can appear as negligence prompting quick judgment and criticism, but later after reviewing all the facts and details of the circumstance the truth comes out where there was absolutely no negligence on anyone's part. Each member of the service team treated us with kindness, courtesy, and professionalism, and they promptly prioritize our vehicle ahead of other customers which they did not have to do. They made a tremendous effort to make the repairs in the most efficient and quickest way and did not charge anything additional for their labor and parts subsequent to the initial repair, which we truly appreciate. This dealership is honest, trustworthy, and reliable, and we would not hesitate to return in the future. We sincerely apologize for posting such a harsh review. In the end, they made it right.
