High Pressure...not worth the drive Found the Jeep we wanted on autotrader at what looked to be a great price. Internet department was very responsive and setup a time to drive over ( 3 Found the Jeep we wanted on autotrader at what looked to be a great price. Internet department was very responsive and setup a time to drive over ( 3 hours one way ). Got there and the internet person I had talked with handed me off to a salesperson. Negotiations were VERY minimum, low ball trade in offer, final price was not discussed with salesperson or sales manager ( Note: This is when I should have walked out but unfortunately I didn't ). Enter the finance person to start the sales pitch for extended warranties. We turned that down and thought it was over. When we got to his office the pressure really turned up. I refused several times so he brought in another guy to do a tag team of the high pressure sales of warranties. We finally caved in and bought one ( again I should have left ). When all was said and done we payed more than we would have locally, basically the internet price went way up with all the add on's and fees. Fast forward, we get the Jeep and drive home, find that it has a huge scratch on the hood. Contact the dealer and setup an appt to take it back for repair, drove 3 hours, got a rental, gave them one week to complete, drive back over 3 hours one way, pick up the jeep and the scratch is still visible, called and refused to drive back over there again and wanted it repainted. They agreed. Took to local Jeep dealership and had the hood painted. I will say they did make it right after some back and forth. Overall....High pressure....very low trade in value....pushy sales of warranties. But did make it right in the end. Buyer beware. More

Bait and switch I would give it no stars. Drove over an hour to look at an advertised vehicle. Called before we went to confirm that the vehicle was there. Wasn’t the I would give it no stars. Overwhelmed I am well aware of how stressful and intimidating buying a car can be. My experience at Shottenkirk was actually enjoyable! Wow! I can't believe I am well aware of how stressful and intimidating buying a car can be. My experience at Shottenkirk was actually enjoyable! Wow! I can't believe I am using enjoyable and car buying in the same sentence. From the moment I walked in the showroom I was treated like a welcome guest. Never was I rushed,pressured or made to feel anything but valued.. I found the perfect car for my 17 y/o daughter and my dream truck too, all in the same day. I have never recommended a car dealership in the past. That has changed. If you are reading this I hope you will visit Shottenkirk. You owe it to yourself to see what car buying should be. Came in on a cash deal and was insulted by Eddie Eddie was insulting by telling me he sold Nissan for years. Our family just moved here and we buy 3/4 cars every 2/3 years with cash We will not recommend seeing Eddie. More
