Usually, I receive excellent service and in a timely manner. This time I had to wait hours, apparently because the sensor I needed for a rear tire was not available and had to be gotten. This was a follow up from a prior service call and should have been on hand. Also, I thought (my fault for not checking) the new tires were to be placed on the front, and they were not. Also, the prices for work and parts kept increasing. I will be more through the next time in dealing with Shottenkirk. More

I chose the dealership based on location and made an appointment online for 0800. I got there a little early and they took the truck in right away. To my surprise, they were done in under an hour for my appointment online for 0800. I got there a little early and they took the truck in right away. Shottenkirk had the car for almost 3 weeks and we didn't receive a call when it was finished. I called to check on the vehicle last week and no one returned my call. I only found out it was finished when I receive a call when it was finished. I called to check on the vehicle last week and no one returned my call. I only found out it was finished when I stopped by the dealership to check on it. Once the car was "finished" and we drove it off the lot, the entire skid plate underneath the vehicle peeled back and was dragging along the pavement, completely destroying the skid plate and requiring a new one. When I returned the car, the service manager refused us a rental car in the meantime and decided to argue with me instead. Now, instead of a quick transaction by returning the rental car and swapping keys, we HAVE to wait on more work that shouldn't have been needed in the first place. Mistake happen, but who forgets to resecure a skid plate after a repair order? Furthermore, why forfeit any future business for the company for the sake of saving a few bucks on a rental car? We just paid you over $7,000 for repair work. The service department blew any opportunity at our future business and we're a big Ford family. 2003 Azure Mach 1, 2021 Grabber Yellow Mach 1, and 2018 Ford Escape. We were considering trading in our vehicle at Shottenkirk but will be making the drive down to Woodstock to do business with Krause Family instead. Bunch of amateurs. More
