In all honesty, this was the first time we have ever had a less than 5 star experience with Shottenkirk Ford Jasper. Dropped our vehicle off last Saturday morning before 9:00am for a 9:30am appointment. As a less than 5 star experience with Shottenkirk Ford Jasper. Dropped our vehicle off last Saturday morning before 9:00am for a 9:30am appointment. As of 3:20pm, had not heard from anyone regarding our vehicle. Called and was told they were just finishing up and by the time we got there they would have the paperwork and it would be ready. I explained we live an hour away, and would like to arrange to pay for it over the phone and pick it up in their "after hours" lot on Sunday. Was told that should be fine and they would call to get that taken care of as soon as they received the paperwork. 4:30pm rolls around and still no call. I call and am informed service closed at 4:00. The young lady who answered my call was very pleasant and helpful. She said she would see if the service manager was still in and would have him call me. He did call me back, and we arranged pick up for Sunday. Long story short, just don't understand why a 9:30am appointment time meant my vehicle wasn't done until after 3:00pm and the communication wasn't better. Again, first time ever being disappointed Shottenkirk. More

I prefer to use a certified Ford Lincoln Dealership for service. However, I get more personalized service from a general automotive dealership. On two occasions for a simple scheduled maintenance appoint service. However, I get more personalized service from a general automotive dealership. On two occasions for a simple scheduled maintenance appointment, I have noticed the staff more friendly with one another than they are with the customers. I was no time for my 7:30 a.m. appointment and had to wait behind locked doors for 10 minutes while employees entered a side entry and no one spoke to me even with a Good Morning. I was personally friendlier to them than they were to me. I had to go to the desk to check on status of my vehicle after almost an hour and a half instead of anyone coming to give me an update. There were others in the waiting area and no employee ever came by to simply provide any updates. Average customer service which is disappointing. More
