I am always very happy with my service at Shottenkirk Honda. However, I brought my 84 yr. old moms car in on Wednesday for service, oil change etc. I was told that her battery was checking low, but cou Honda. However, I brought my 84 yr. old moms car in on Wednesday for service, oil change etc. I was told that her battery was checking low, but could be that the car just wasn’t driven much. So, when I got to her house, I looked at the battery, just to see if I could find a date. I was shocked at the condition they left her cables in! The battery & cables were completely croded!!! I immediately went to the local Auto Zone to have it checked. They too were shocked that Honda mechanics didn’t clean them. They put in a new battery, changed out the cable connectors, and cleaned the battery area where the green crosion had oozed! I was just really disappointed that when they checked the battery, they did not clean the cables since they were horribly bad! Honda missed out on the sale of a battery as well. More
