I scheduled an appt. for my car to be serviced. I explained to the technician that I was driving out of town for the Thanksgiving Holidays and wanted to make sure that everything was okay. He looked explained to the technician that I was driving out of town for the Thanksgiving Holidays and wanted to make sure that everything was okay. He looked at my auto records and shared that I was only due for an oil change and tire rotation. I told him that a tire rotation was not necessary as I just had my tires rotated. He said that they would change the oil and look everything over and make sure everything was okay and would let me know if anything needed to be done besides the oil change. I agreed. When I was checking out, I noticed on the paperwork that two red boxes were checked to indicate that the air filter and cabin filter needed immediate attention. I inquired about this because I was under the impression that the service technician was going to let me know if anything besides an oil change was needed. It was suggested that I just go and purchase the filters somewhere else and was told that the air filter sat on top of my engine and that the cabin filter was located behind the glove box. When I got home, I asked my husband to go get the filters from O'Reilly Auto Parks. He made the purchase and installed the filters. I am disappointed that the service department didn't follow-up and at least let me know about the filters needing replaced while the car was back in the shop or to at least offer to replace the filters before I left. I think this was just poor customer service. More
Shottenkirk Honda of Cartersville is the only place I bring my Accord for service. Poor customer service. I brought the car three times before warranty issue with key ignition was fixed. I shared sometime I have to pump the breaks and the lady told to record myself when doing that, to before warranty issue with key ignition was fixed. I drove to back and this time another older lady helped me and issue was fixed no questions asked. More
