So I go into Schottenkirk Nissan with my daughter to get a Nissan Versa. After the visit, they called to tell me one was in. I asked for a ballpark quote over the phone - no point in wasting anyone's time. a Nissan Versa. After the visit, they called to tell me one was in. I asked for a ballpark quote over the phone - no point in wasting anyone's time. They declined. Then my husband is talking to them - about the same vehicle - asks for a quote, and gets one no problem - $26000. When he lets them know that's too much for a $20000 vehicle, they call me back, ready to give me a quote. Guess what they quoted me - $30000. They didn't know we were the same family. HE is quoted, no problem, and $26000. SHE is not quoted initially, and then finally, $30000. Anybody see a problem here? Apparently the premium for being a woman buyer at Schottenkirk Nissan is $4000. More
