They lied about a Tacoma being at the dealership, we negotiated on a a Tacoma and a different one was delivered. Salesmen was standing outside like a vulture waiting to pounce on his prey. Knew very little about the operation or the basic functions of the vehicle. I called to set an appointment for a recall on my vehicle and I was told they could get the vehicle in to fix the problem. I was told it would take 2 - 4 hours to correct the problem. I received a call an h and I was told they could get the vehicle in to fix the problem. I was told it would take 2 - 4 hours to correct the problem. I received a call an hour later and was told they ordered the parts the fix the recall but they could not access the wiring harness because I have a grill guard on the truck. They could take the grill guard off for about $500 or I could remove it myself. So they did not have the parts to fix it as I was told. It is a recall so they wanted to charge me to remove something on the outside to fix something on the inside. The last time I took a vehicle there was to get an oil change and the vehicle came back with some bolts missing out of the skid plate. I believe this will be the last visit to Shottenkirk for me. I also applied for a job there to help with these types of problems but I never heard back from them for consideration for the position. I do not understand a place that has this many problems but will not take action to correct them. I doubt their business will hurt from me not returning and I hope the service changes for the better but I would advise caution when using their services. But a shout out to them for washing my truck. that was nice. More
