He gives me a 2017 Rav 4 with 60,000+miles and chocolate all in the console, not detailed or washed for a loaner. Two of the tires kept going flat and I finally demanded another loaner as we had several more weeks before my car arrived. The extra upcharge or Shottenkirk maintenance is a ripoff. I wish we had drove on to Fort Worth to a different dealer. Not recommend. More

I went into Shottenkirk Toyota several months ago (October 2021) immediately after going through a carwash for leakage from my rear top taillight. The headliner and two rear head rests were soaked wi (October 2021) immediately after going through a carwash for leakage from my rear top taillight. The headliner and two rear head rests were soaked with water and detergent. I was informed by the service manager that the issue was not due to defect nor covered by my warranty. The repair would involve removing both front seats, the T-posts and uprights, airbags and headliner. The repair cost was in the thousands of dollars. I asked if there was any way of repairing the taillight without removing the head liner. The service manager said it was not possible. Furthermore, in many instances the headliner could not be reinstalled and would require replacing. Now in December I receive a recall notice in the mail. I took the truck up to the same service department. The repaired the taillight by pulling down enough on the headliner to repair/replace the fixture and there was no evidence of water damage. They exclaimed this without looking at the inner surface of the headliner, without looking at the stained headrests or even rotating the seat backs up. Exactly what I told was not possible only two months earlier when I had to pay for the repairs. Zero integrity!! More
