BAIT and SWITCH internet pricing. The vehicle of interest was listed with an "Internet Price" just under $23000. When I contacted the dealership, they informed me of $3700 in "Tint The vehicle of interest was listed with an "Internet Price" just under $23000. When I contacted the dealership, they informed me of $3700 in "Tint warranty", "Nitrogen tire refills", and a "VIP Convenience package" -- tied to ongoing service of the vehicle. All of these fees are non-negotiable, despite the fact that I would not ever use their Toyota dealership for servicing of a Mazda. When I questioned the practice, the sales rep explained that "we have to show a low vehicle price to get internet customers in here... then we explain the rest". I could not believe my ears. Wow. Just a good old Bait and Switch. More
