Todays visit to Shottenkirk was very good and timely. There was a little thing I had to go back for. The mechanic that was handling the inspection failed to return the "setting on the dashboard info. I went back to have it checked and a young lady came out of one of the service offices and immediately asked if she could help AND after we went to the RAV for a look, she reached in and tapped a "button" on the steering wheel and IT WAS FIXED!! More

The Shottenkirk Toyota service department did an OK job. I wasn't overly impressed with them, though. I had scheduled an appointment, but the service wasn't started until about 45 minutes later. Since I have had my Tacoma for right at a year, I expected the service to include an oil change - even though I have a relatively low number of miles on the odometer. But, that hadn't been done. When I pointed this out, the service advisor said he hadn't noticed the age of the vehicle. So they took it back in and did the oil change. So, I felt the service was OK, but certainly not great. I do wish they could get a new wash rack. It is broken more than working. The service folks are good. Melissa works with me. This past service I did not see itemized for my oil change. Everyime I bring my car in for service the check in is quick and efficient. When it is done review what was done and if anything else looks to be needed. Quick turn around on tire rotation, but pointed out would like complimentary car wash to advisor as car covered in road grime.
