I didn't buy that day as I was still unsure what I wanted, but one of the cars I test drove with him really caught my eye, but just didn't have the options I wanted. Brad remembered me when they received new vehicles and called to tell me of cars I may be interested in. Although I ended up buying my vehicle from another dealership, I definitely appreciated his patience and willingness to assist me in making a decision. Our family dealings begin with Asbel several years ago. The financing was painless and they were extatic. I got a call, "mother when you or daddy get ready to get another car, I have someone that will work with you and find exactly what you want!" Within the next few months, it was necessary for my husband to get another car. He contacted Asbel, told him what he was looking for. He got a call that he had found a couple of cars. My husband went to Ft. Worth, test drove them and decided on one. The payments were arranged. Little did I know, my husband had told him what to look for for me. My husband got a call from him. Husband decided to take the car to the dealership on Saturday morning to have them find a "rattle". I went along for the ride. I was not wanting to change cars, husband had a newer one, I would make do. Got there, Asbel said hey you want to look at some new used cars I just got in? Nope. Awe, comeon. so I went out, looked around. Test drove one and fell in love. He had found the perfect car for me, I feel comfortable in the car. It is the right size, color, style. Perfect. Daughters friend decided she wanted to trade her car in, she had put some miles on it. Called Asbel, few days later, she had a newer car in her dirve way. Son paid off his truck and decide he needed something more economical, called Asbel, couple of weeks later, son drove to Weatherford in his truck, drove home in his new, used car. In the next couple of years, son will be getting another truck, more gas efficient. Needless to say, our family follows Asbel because we know where to go to get treated like royalty. My father in law was a sales manager for a dealership before he passed away. He had customers that would come from all over the country to trade with him. These guys and gals are real class acts. There are no pressure sales tactics and they don't pull the "what type of monthly payment are you looking for" or "How much can you put down" or "Well we had a ha pressure sales tactics and they don't pull the "what type of monthly payment are you looking for" or "How much can you put down" or "Well we had a hard time getting you financed but we can get it done with money down and a ridiculous high interest rate".. I had the pleasure of working with Matt Ramsey and it was the easiest, quickest, and the best car buying experience I've ever had. This is my fifth vehicle to buy from a dealership but first vehicle from Durant. I was looking at a base model Tacoma and Matt had to go to another dealership to get it but when I got there he had the "Texas Edition" waiting for me (smart move). I'm so glad I went with the Texas Edition, it's awesome and hey I love Texas! I live in Ft. Worth and there is a Toyota dealership a rocks throw away form my house but I will drive out to Weatherford anytime to do business with Durant....THANKS MATT! He went head-to-head against 6 other dealers and came out ahead because of his commitment to us and his willingness to make sure we were going to be satisfied with our car buying process. We could've gotten it a few hundred dollars cheaper at the bigger Toyota Dealerships but that bit of money over the long haul isnt worth it to me if you walk away feeling like they got over on you and the after sale service isn't worth a flip. The service we got from the very start of the whole thing was far above and beyond anything we've ever received anywhere else. Lee started off great, finding me the Tundra Crew Max I wanted. He worked tirelessly to get the deal done for us. He kept me updated on everything that was going on. He even knew I was shopping his prices out and would still come back and beat them. Chad Page over in Finance was great to work with, explaining everything to us. Other dealerships we've been to, try to hurry and push you out so you dont see what you're paying for but not Chad. He asked us a few times if we had any questions, made sure we were happy. Laura Moore in Service explained Toyota Care to me and even booked my first service visit 6 months out. She explained the service intervals and that by sticking to these, we'd get better pricing. Even gave me a little towelette thing that looked like a can for the car. I forgot to give her a few bucks for her jar but I'll make sure to take care of that on my first service visit. Lee came back out at the end and made sure that we knew everything we needed to know about the car. He pointed out all of the features since we hadnt had the chance to look at them in depth yet. He wanted to make sure we were happy with the truck before we left. One of the floor managers came by to congratulate us on our purchase. Lee let him know that we had driven from Grapevine, passing quite a few dealers up including Grapevine Toyota which is 5 mins from the house just to do business with them out in Weatherford. The floor manager thanked us and offered us the first 2 tanks of gas free on our first two service visits. Talk about service!!!
