Horrible service I bought a used car from Durant Toyota in Weatherford. There was damage on the back of one of the seats. I asked if the damage could be fixed before I decided to purchase the vehicle, the salesman told me no, it could not be fixed. 1 day after purchasing the vehicle, I noticed a noise coming from the back of the car. Every time I turned a corner, I could hear something sliding around. I go look in the back, and there is the brand new piece to fix the damaged part of the seat. Rather than being angry that I was given false info about the damage being fixed, I just moved on and made an appointment for the service dept to switch out the pieces. This is where I get EXTREMELY angry. Service dept tells me they will need my car for 3-4 days.... send me over to the rental place, I get into a rental get 2 miles down the road and they call me to come pick up my car. How stupid is this? Then, I get the car home and find the trash from the new part was thrown in the back of the car. This is what upsets me the most. Why would anyone think it is acceptable to throw trash in a vehicle they are servicing?With the exception of this vehicle, I will never use Durant Toyota in the future. Or any of their affiliates. What a huge disappointment these guys have been from the get go. More
Military Members They WIll Take Care of YOU! I am an active member of the military, stationed at NAS Fort Worth. I have been dealing with this dealership for a week now, and had been given a price to which I agreed on. First the dealer exceeded my expectations. They found the truck i wanted, and picked me up after i traded my truck in at carmax. When i first spoke with Jake, i asked him if they had the militaty rebate. He said they did as long as i was active. This price he quoted me included the $500 military rebate. Today, after already selling my truck, I went to close on the truck, and they tell me they won't honor the military rebate unless I finance through them. I had already secured a loan through USAA, and didn't want to do the application process over again. This was never conveyed to me, and my sales rep didn't know about this rule. I asked if they would honor the price they quoted me or offer a $500 credit towards parts. They refused. I really had no choice, but to pay the extra money, because I had already sold my truck. I feel they should have honored the price they quoted me. Military members beware. I paid for their mistake. In my book that's not good customer service. Had it not been for this, my experience would have been great. ***Update**** John McGuire contacted me in regards to this review. He was very apologetic about the misunderstanding, and went above and beyond to repair our relationship. They have gained my loyalty back as a customer, and reaffirmed to me they are accountable for their actions, and want to make the customer happy! More

Asbel was a complete pleasure to work with! I am extremely busy and don't have time (nor desire) to go to the dealership and haggle on pricing. Asbel handled every part of my transaction from start to finish. He gave me the best price possible (which was better than many of the competing dealerships) right off the bat. He sent me a link for my credit app which he processed and got back to me right away. By the time I showed up at the dealership he had all the paperwork drawn up and the truck was waiting up front detailed and ready to take home. The information I shared above is typical of any decent dealership but let me tell you the prospective buyer...why I gave these guys 5 stars. When I showed up there were a few imperfections on the interior of the car. Not extremely noticeable but hey I am picky. Without hesitation Asbel immediately got on the phone and made a few calls. On our test drive we drove right to the interior shop to get a quote to repair the imperfections. After receiving the quote he looked at me and said I want to make this right. He offered to pay for the repair. When it was all said and done he put the hitch on my SUV free of charge. He ordered it and had expedited shipping and put it on over the course of a day. He called me to tell me that they had to make some more than minor modifications to the rear bumper to get the hitch to work and gave me a loaner suv for the night. The next morning my SUV was sitting in my driveway and had been delivered by a member of their service department. Ok so some dealerships will do this for you...but what if you lived 50 miles away as I do? Durant Toyota will. One final thought....I left some personal belongings in the loaner vehicle and I emailed Asbel about them. He found them and shipped them to me ASAP. This extra effort was very much appreciated and well after the paperwork had been signed. I'd give Asbel and his team at Durant Toyota a 10/5 if this review site would let me. Not only did they beat it, they beat it while including a max extended warranty included. Less money, more stuff. Very no hassle. Very laid back. Very friendly and helpful... even the finance guy was cool! Adam Ramsey was the perfect salesman. I will definitely be returning if I need another car. More
