At this point I’m done with Silko Volkswagen and their service department. I’ve had multiple issues here, including being told to drive 40+ miles on a donut only to find out they didn’t have the replaceme service department. This latest experience is the last straw. On August 8th I called because my wheel was cracked and leaking air daily. Since I purchased the wheel/tire package, I expected it to be simple. They told me their wheel guy only comes once a month, but offered another option to drop the car off and they’d send the wheels out. I agreed and planned to have all four wheels taken care of. They said no loaner was available until August 18th, so I drove on a donut for 10 days waiting. The morning of the appointment, I called while on my way. Service manager Jeff told me he wasn’t sure why the appointment was booked, that the wheel guy wouldn’t be back until September, and that the sheet didn’t even say I needed a loaner. He then claimed it was “Mario” who booked it and that Mario had since been let go for things like this, but the appointment sheet clearly shows Jeff’s name and “needs loaner” written in the comment box. I even asked if I could still bring the wheel in since it has a one-inch crack, and was basically told nobody in their service department could make that call—it has to be their wheel guy who only comes one day a month. That’s ridiculous. So after two weeks of waiting, I was told there’s nothing they can do until September. That leaves me stranded with a cracked, undrivable wheel and no solution. Silko wasted my time, sold me a package they can’t deliver on, and showed zero accountability. I will never do business with them again. More
