I had contacted a few dealerships about Dodge Chargers I was interested in. The one I liked at Kirby was in transit to the dealership but Art kept me up to date on it via email. Once the car arrived Art texted me and said it would be ready to show the next morning. I drove down first thing in the morning and two hours later I was driving home in the new car. Art was never pushy and he got me a fair price for my 'beater' trade-in. I really appreciated that the initial communication was through email and texting. The Valencia dealership near my house called (and continues to call) my cell phone while I'm at work and on Sundays which immediately turned me off to them. More
As a salesperson, Ralph was very easy to deal with and did not come across as "pushy" or manipulative. He genuinely listened to my needs/interests and did his best to guide our conversation/sale in the right direction. Once sales negotiations began, Sean and Bob did not try and play hardball, rather provided a fair initial offer followed by a generous revision once my concerns were voiced. Overall very satisfied with my experience buying a new car at Kirby. More

After researching for new Chargers i came upon Simi Valley dodge. Art the online sales person couldn't of been anymore helpful, me living nearly a hour away sent me pictures of the vehicle, he worked to get me all the rebates i was eligible for as well as get the most out of my trade in, Simi Valley Dodge is not only a dealer that i will be returning to for future purchases but i will refer to relatives and friends. I couldn't be any happier with them. More
Super guys, always willing to help! I drive a fleet car and these guys do all the work, paperwork, and all follow up with Enterprise fleet services. I went to this Dealership for their Internet specials on the Dodge Challenger. The rebates were excellent and the dealership threw in a couple items that I wanted with my car. Very easy to deal with. So I had been taking my truck to another dealership in Ventura county and they kept giving me the run around. I decided to take it to Kirby Dodge and Jeff helped me in service. He explained the features o Ventura county and they kept giving me the run around. I decided to take it to Kirby Dodge and Jeff helped me in service. He explained the features of my truck that the sales person and service person at the other dealer couldn't take the time to show me. I decided to also get a regular service done since I was there already and Jeff very kindly fit me in and even got me a ride to get some food. I know from now on I will be making the 30+ minute drive to Kirby because of how Jeff treated me, I wasn't just another dollar bill walking in the door...I was a customer and treated as if he wanted me to return. My wife and I were treated well from the moment we showed up the the signing of the sales contract. I have never been treated like that at any dealer before. Now to the not so good rating. We purchased a use up the the signing of the sales contract. I have never been treated like that at any dealer before. Now to the not so good rating. We purchased a used 2006 jeep commander from Kirby in July 28th of 2012 and took it on a road trip to see our son in Washington, the jeep did well with no complaints. Once we returned about a month later the transmission was having delay problems while shifting into drive. I took it to our town dealership and they had it a week and failed to fix it, so we took it back to Kirby jeep where we bought it. It has been to Kirby in Simi Valley 5 or 6 times with no luck still having transmission problems. Now the engine is accelerating on its own, the fan only works on high, the service 4wheel drive light is on, replaced the right side cv boots due to them leaking. But the worst thing is the transmission problem and the fact I have had it in the shop so many times for the same problem and for whatever reason it can't be fixed. The dealership said to bring it in and they could put me into another vehicle but my payments will be higher. I don't believe this jeep was ever checked and just cleaned and put on the lot. I have tried to go with the lemon law but the dealership covered their butts by giving me an extended service contract instead of an extended warranty. With an extended service contract the only thing the purchaser can do is pay the $100 deductible each time the vehicle is brought in. With the extended warranty then the buyer has the ability to claim lemon law. Now we are screwed and have a POS that is falling apart and there is noting we can do about it except keep driving it 45 minutes away to the dealership and keep having them attempt to fix it. Very unfair, and we did give this dealership a great review when we first purchased this jeep because we were treated like we were he most important customers there. Now we have just received a recall letter from Chrysler stating that the jeep commander transmission are slipping out of park into neutral and crashing, jeep doesn't have the software to fix this problem but when they do the dealership will notify us. What happens in the mean time and it does come out of gear and crashes into another car or heavens forbid hurts a person. More
