I was on a time crunch the day of my service. My appt was scheduled for 9:30, no one came to check me in until 9:45. I informed my rep when I checked in that I needed to leave no later than 12:30 My appt was scheduled for 9:30, no one came to check me in until 9:45. I informed my rep when I checked in that I needed to leave no later than 12:30. He assured me he would work to get my vehicle finished by my out time. The waiting room was full so I walked about 20 blocks to the nearest Target. I called at 11am to schedule a shuttle pick up at 12:15. 12:15 came and went, no shuttle. I called, couldn’t get a hold of my rep and the receptionist told me there was one person ahead of me for the shuttle. But I had it scheduled well in advance I said. I asked if my car was done. The receptionist said my rep would have to tell me that and he’s busy. No apology, no solution was given so I canceled the shuttle and called an Uber to my appointment. I got a voicemail from the rep at 2:20 saying the car was finished. I got back to the dealership at 4:30pm. Explained all the mix ups of the day. No apology again. In fact he said the car was ready at 11:45…really? Then why did no one tell me that when I called at 12:15? I asked if the dealership could at least pay for my Uber and was told we don’t do that. He took my money and I left. I overpaid for an oil change, almost double what I’m used to. I get that it was a busy day but the lack of communication is inexcusable. If you know that Fridays are busy then staff appropriately. I can be pretty understanding but to never receive an apology or a solution for all the issues I encountered as a direct result of bad customer service means I won’t be back again. More
