We had an issue arise with a 2017 Toyota Tundra that we purchased from DCH Toyota of Oxnard. After discovering significant rust damage around the high-mounted brake light, we contacted the dealership and provided photographs and an independent body shop estimate.
To the dealership's credit, the General Sales Manager, Oscar Gutierrez, responded within two days of receiving our letter. After reviewing the documentation, DCH Toyota agreed to cover the repairs according to the specifications provided by our body shop. The only requirement was that the work be performed in Oxnard.
The repair was completed, and the truck was returned to us in excellent condition. We greatly appreciate the dealership's willingness to review the situation, communicate promptly, and stand behind the vehicle long after the sale.
While no customer hopes to encounter an unexpected issue with a vehicle, what truly matters is how a business responds when a problem arises. In our case, DCH Toyota of Oxnard handled the matter professionally and fairly, and we are grateful for their assistance.
Thank you to the management team and repair staff for making things right.
