Horrible Service Department We dealt with Derek in the service department on multiple occasions over the same issue a few months ago. We brought it for service at Sioux Empire be We dealt with Derek in the service department on multiple occasions over the same issue a few months ago. We brought it for service at Sioux Empire because we bought the car there. We have spent thousands on issues with this car since we bought it, horrible purchase. He told us that he was going to order us the part the we needed (an exhaust evap part that was causing the check engine light) and call us to bring the car back in. This was after we had spent $1000 fixing another issue (that we were quoted $400). So, two weeks went by and we hadn’t heard back. We called them to check in and Derek said “oh yeah, the part came in, just stop by with the car.” We brought the car in and the light was off afterwards......for about a month. When the light came back on, we checked the code and sure enough it was the same code. This time, we had given up on Sioux Empire, and brought it back to the dealership. They pulled out the old part and replaced it. Turns out Sioux Empire just soldered the old part and put it back in, they never actually replaced it. Pathetic!!! Derek was horrible to deal with, and is one of the slimiest guys out there. Save your time and money and bring your car to someone you can trust - NOT Derek at Sioux Empire. More
