Bought our new 2024 Surburban, check engine light came on the next day, was in the shop for a new fuel rail replacement. That was fixed and then vehicle began having a very rough idle. Brought it back in, where they tried over the course of several days to gaslight us and say nothing was wrong with the vehicle. Technician openly lied and said he sat in a identical vehicle and “it felt the same” but when we asked to sit it in, he back peddled and said the “vehicle was cold and wouldn’t feel the same.” Hence, he lied about sitting in the other vehicle and it feeling the same, otherwise it wouldn’t be cold. We’ve had to advocate and push for further diagnostics, the service department and dealership drags their feet to do the bare minimum. Vehicle has been in the shop for 13 days out of the less than two months of ownership with it likely to stay there another 5. The individual working on the car is a brand new mechanic with no experience working with the Duramax engine and basically they have to consult GM corporate for everything. The honest and best practice for Sir Walter Chevy to do would be to buy the vehicle back at purchase price. But they are doing everything in their power to be evasive and sleazy. More

My experience at Sir Walter was nothing short of amazing! My wife and I went to purchase a truck and the whole process went very smooth. Edit: Chevy has worked the issue out with me and did a wonderful job. I bought a Ford used truck there for my business and signed up for the services and warranty. After they sell you the car it is almost impossible to reach anyone after. I have tried for 2 days now to reach multiple people in the finance department and no call back at all. Terrible communication. I bought my car from them and was told with my warranty I could bring it back there for any service. I sign up for my first service and go all the way there just to be told they don't work on Ford vehicles. On top of that they sold me the car and the check engine light came on literally a day to 2 days after buying it. More
