Dead battery One week after taking delivery of my new Edge the battery was dead, had to jump it twice prior to calling the dealership regarding the problem. I was One week after taking delivery of my new Edge the battery was dead, had to jump it twice prior to calling the dealership regarding the problem. I was instructed to bring it in and they would look at it while I waited. The Battery was in fact bad and the service men did a great job replacing it and getting me on my way in less than an hour. My recommendation for future pre-delivery is to check the batteries on every vehicle that has been sitting on your lot from December 2016 to July 2017 or later, when I took delivery it had Ben sitting for seven months Greg Miller More
