Great vehicle service Alex the service tech was very professional and friendly to work with. He worked close with his mechanics to get my explorer in and out of service esp Alex the service tech was very professional and friendly to work with. He worked close with his mechanics to get my explorer in and out of service especially quick, less than an hour from drop off to driving down the road. They gave my vehicle the 35k miles Inspection, tire rotation, oil change and brake inspection. I am very happy with it and I do recommend Skalnek Ford to all my family and friends More

Customer service sucks in the service deparent My ford truck sat in there parking lot all day by the dumpster in the back lot literally all day and I called all day long to see if my truck was done My ford truck sat in there parking lot all day by the dumpster in the back lot literally all day and I called all day long to see if my truck was done and I took the chance and had my wife take me up there at 4:30 pm and there it was still I'm the same place and never once did they call and tell me they couldn't finish my truck after dropping it off on a Monday and now it's Friday. They did not get it done either so I have to take it back Monday the horrible thing is that I have to take it back to them or I have to pay another deductible even though it was their fault it didn't get done after they said they would on Monday that it would be done on Friday. Allen admitted that my truck sat back there all day long ... I don't understand why you wouldn't call me and tell me to come get it or get if fixed . The customer service sucks I've never been treated so badly before and I think it's horrible that lake orion has only one ford dealership to deal with because that one is awful More
They misquoted me, ordered wrong parts, huge inconvenience. Didn't compensate my inconvenience. Yet another great experience with this dealer. My fusion sunroof broke in the open position a couple of days ago as a storm was rolling in on my way home from work one morning. I called the service department and explained my situation. I was told to bring it right in and somebody would help me get it closed. They did not have time to make an appointment to get it fixed that day as they were booked up but the fact that they would take a few minutes out of their day to ensure my sunroof was closed on a rainy day made a world of difference. I tried asking the dealer in Rochester as I was passing them and was very rudely turned away in the rain. No matter what you need Skalnek is the place to be More
My experience with Skalnek's service department was absolutely awful. I brought my 2006 vehicle into their service bay to get some electrical issues diagnosed. My vehicle was under a "bumper to bumper" absolutely awful. I brought my 2006 vehicle into their service bay to get some electrical issues diagnosed. My vehicle was under a "bumper to bumper" warranty through Ford yet off the start I was required to sign off on a $92 diagnostic fee (just in case the problem was not covered by my "bumper to bumper" warranty). It turns out that my vehicle required a $767 part to be replaced. At this point, Skalnek informed me that the part was not covered under my "bumper to bumper" warranty, and I was going to have to pay them to send my car to a different dealer that had the capabilities of fixing the electrical issue. After taking some time to think about this I decided to request that my car be released since this dealership could not service the problems with my vehicle. The service department did not have a problem releasing the vehicle to me if I agreed to pay them $92 for diagnosing the problem that they admittedly could not fix. After some conversation regarding my past loyalty to their establishment, I was told that "someone has to pay the technician and it surely ain't gonna be me." The customer service level of Skalnek's service department is as bad as I have ever experienced. Myself and my family will not EVER give them our business again, and I urge any prospecting buyers to do the same. More
