They take appointments, but they don’t honor them. I made an appointment weeks ago for a basic tire rotation. I showed up at the appointment time and they told me it’s at least an hour wait. On the coldest day of the year, a Sunday, my tire pressure light went on. The next day, under time constraints, I lined up at Express Service twenty minutes before opening. All bays were full . The agent motioned me to the appointment service bays. The Smart team immediately filled my tires as they huddled in the service Bay Area. One mentioned that the heaters inside the building were broken; management had not fixed them . Please fix the heaters. These folks deserve optimum working conditions since they provide excellent and reliable care. We need happy Smart employees🤗 More
Only dealer that offered any kind of warranty on older used vehicle. Paid a premium but condition of vehicle, warranty, and 24 month service plan made it worth the extra money. I recently test drove a Certified Pre-owned Toyota at Smart Motors that was advertised on their website and was surprised to discover it was dirty inside, reeked of cigarette smoke and had a chip on the Smart Motors that was advertised on their website and was surprised to discover it was dirty inside, reeked of cigarette smoke and had a chip on the windshield. The sales rep was very friendly and apologetic and promised to have the vehicle cleaned and repaired and said he would be certain to take care of it and contact me when it was ready the next day. I did not hear back from him. Several days later, I e-mailed him to see if the car was ready. He called me right back and I made an appointment to see the car that day. When we arrived, he showed me a car that was $12,000 more than the original car and when I asked where the car was that I had come to see, he said it had been sold! I understand that cars can be sold. What is not acceptable is being misleading and deceitful to customers. The sales rep had my phone number and e-mail, but did not contact me. It was a complete waste of my time and shows a lack of respect for the customer. The appropriate response would have been to contact me to say, "I'm sorry to let you know the vehicle you were interested in has been sold. We have some other options I would be happy to show you, and I can also contact you when new inventory arrives. How would you like to proceed?" More
