Originally I was not looking forward to dea Smith Haven Dodge Ram Preowned was the first dealership my wife and I went in while shopping for a truck. Originally I was not looking forward to dealing with "used car salesman" That changed when i walked in to Smith Haven. I was pleasantly surprised when I was approached by our sales associate Troy. He is a good guy who was very knowledgeable of what I was looking for. I haven't purchased yet so let's see what happens. Here’s the update I should have done long ago. I never did get the truck I was interested in. I wasn’t happy with the price. Everything else was going fine but they wanted too much for the truck. After the used car manager came and sat down, she asked what can she do. I expressed my concerns about the price of the vehicle and the fact I would have to pay to have my fifth wheel hitch and wiring installed. I would also have to pay for the truck side plow mount to be installed on the truck and other trucks I was looking at had these options. She just said how great it will be to have a new strong diesel with such low miles. Noting adjusted or offered, not even to install a fifth wheel prep package. Bottom line, the price was about 45200, I wanted to pay 43k. I left without it and received numerous calls. When I explained the situation on the phone calls I answered, I was offered nothing. A few days later the truck is online for 2k less than what they wanted me to pay. Troy wasn’t really to blame, I called him on his cell. He had a death in the family and was off a couple of days. He did call the dealership to confirm it was the same truck and the price was lowered. I would’ve liked to have been told on one of the numerous calls that there will be a price adjustment on the truck and had it offered to me. Let me also mention that they ran my credit and it was all good 800 + so that wasn’t an issue. I feel like they tried to pull a fast one. I had to update the rating More
