Leasing a Kia optima Went to Smithtown Kia made my deal on an Optima. Dealer ray knew exactly what we wanted after going back and forth with him for literally 4 hours and Went to Smithtown Kia made my deal on an Optima. Dealer ray knew exactly what we wanted after going back and forth with him for literally 4 hours and the finance manager. We all agreed on price with zero down. We could of taken car that same day but we agreed to come back because we were exhausted after haggling price for so long. Again, they knew exactly the lease agreement we were willing to pay. After all, this was our third lease on a Kia Optima. We decided to come back in 3 days to pick up car. My daughter was all excited, we switched everything over with our insurance and as far as we knew, we were just going into sign and pick up vehicle. They had the car all ready sitting outside and took my daughter into car to set it all up with her phone and all as my husband and I sat patiently waiting. Well, we waited about an hour and a half (empty dealership) and they finally called us in office of finance manager and all of the sudden the price had went up and we were informed we needed to put almost 3k more down after they had already accepted my daughters down payment on her cc days before. We asked to speak to a manager and the manager of sales came in and was extremely rude along with the finance manager, they were both blaming it on the poor salesman who by the way was such a nice guy. They tried telling us that we never made the deal we made and basically it was too bad. My daughter was very upset but honestly did not want to deal with these people at all. She at her young age knew they were totally trying to take advantage of her. Good thing my husband and I went with her to pick up car that never was. We left dealership with nothing but excuses blaming it on us that we never made that deal and simply not apologetic at all. I CALLED THE GENERAL MANAGER THE NEXT DAY AND HE PROMISED HE WOULD GET BACK TO ME AND I NEVER HEARD BACK. I would not of bought a car from them anyway at that point but I figured I would call and see if he atleast knew what was going on and WHAT DO U KNOW ‘MORE BLAH BLAH BLAH AND NEVER A CALL BACK. DONT GO TO THIS DEALER PLEASE....... More

To change made easy :) Most of my cars were Toyota, but going to Kia of St James made the change over easy with excellent employees Mike Halliday and Paulie who Compared the Most of my cars were Toyota, but going to Kia of St James made the change over easy with excellent employees Mike Halliday and Paulie who Compared the size car I’ve always owned to the Cars Kias had that we’re to my liking . Second great experience After having my car rear ended and totalled, I reached out to Smithtown Kia, told them what had happened, and they made a reservation for me to see th After having my car rear ended and totalled, I reached out to Smithtown Kia, told them what had happened, and they made a reservation for me to see the car and color I had been dreaming of. As soon as I got there, Greg, the manager, greeted me and got me into a sales rep's hands as quickly as possible. Gerard made me feel comfortable right away and got me on the car to test drive. I fell in love (with the car 😀) immediately. Once everything was processed, Rosa took over to finalize everything. She was great! They truly treat their customers like royalty. I highly recommend buying or leasing your next car from Smithtown Kia. 5+ stars! More
