Buying a car was never so easy! I have always been loyal to Nissan because I've loved every Nissan I have owned. They had the selection I expected on the lot and they know the meaning of customer service- the real meaning. Best of all we didn't have to play any games when talking price, the Sales Manager Joe Urso was reasonable and I was drive away within the hour with my new car. I've never recommended a dealership before but I simply had to share what a pleasure it was doing business here. More

I reluctantly answered it, after refusing to answer the first two copies, and may have done so haphazardly without thought. My visit and dealing with Smithtown Nissan was outstanding, I could not have been treated with more courtesy and found all I was in contact with, very knowledgable and informativel. I have been buying and/or leasing cars throughout my lifetime, and my meeting and dealing with my Sales Rep. Mike Fariello was first and foremost why I chose to go ahead and lease my present Altima from Smithtown Nissan. Sales Manager Ed O'Donohue was also very instrumental in satisfying any hesitations that I may have had in closing the deal. I would certainly recommend this dealership to friends, with an emphisis on seeing Mike Fariello, regarding their possible purchases or leases. Philip C. Lindenauer More

However, as unpleasant spending large amounts of money is to me, I didn't mind as much this time. The reason for this was because I felt like the sales agent was really trying to help me and was doing all he could to make my experience as pleasant as possible. He acted as a professional should, he let the product and my previous experience with my Nissan Maxima sell me. He wasn't like, you need this or I can see you in that. It was actually how a trip to the dealership should be, comfortable and not t.v. show horrible. With that said, I would like to thank Mike for all his help and pointing me in the right direction to my new favorite color car, crimson black. It was a huge change for me from my past three Maxima's that were dark metallic blue (my previous favorite color). I love the car he recommended, and when I say he was spot on with all the compliments he said I would get and have been getting about my new car, it's no exaggeration. This time around the trip was worth it and not bad at all. I hope they can keep up the level of customer attention they have given me this round for my next new car. More

Smithtown Nissan tried to hose me out! The Nissan Cube has been my dream car since it came out. When my car died, the first thing I did was set out to buy a cube. I went to the Smithtown Nissan dealership after finding the exact car I wanted online for a price I felt a could afford. I have pretty bad credit, but my boyfriend came with as a cosigner and he had golden credit, so we didn't expect too much of a problem. Our sales guy, Nolan Epps, was wonderful; no complaints with him. He showed us the vehicle, answered all of my questions, took us for a test drive, and then explained the next steps in the process. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He then took us to the finance department to meet with Will Alicea who then proceeded to hose me out in a very illegal fashion. First of all, in NYS, it is required by law that the dealership show you a print copy of your credit score and divulge to you where they are submitting that information. Neither thing was done, and he refused to give me any numbers in reading until I signed. He sent my info (and my bf's) to god knows where ("some bank in Texas" he told us), and was able to get me approved on almost 50% interest! For an 11k vehicle, he had me looking at paying 20k over five years. I don't think so. I may have bad credit but I'm not stupid, and I'm so glad I didn't fall face first into that hole. If you are planning on visiting this dealership, stay away from this guy! It seems he will try and take advantage of your poor credit and situation to try and get one over on you. I left a deposit on the car so I could think about it. When I returned, this individual was beyond rude to me, and I will never consider buying a Nissan ever again as a result. NO GOOD on Smithtown Nissan! More
