Poor after sale experience I leased a Nissan Pathfinder in December 2017 from Smithtown Nissan. I'm only giving one star because the car is great, service after the sale has be I leased a Nissan Pathfinder in December 2017 from Smithtown Nissan. I'm only giving one star because the car is great, service after the sale has been unacceptable. This is our 4th consecutive Nissan i've leased from this Dealership. In December, we had an Altima that we were turning-in which was due to expire in 3 or so months. As I sit here today, on April 17th, the 3 remaining lease payments for the turned in Altima are still unpaid by Smithtown Nissan and i'm currently having debt collectors call my home for payment. I received an end of lease liability statement from Nissan on 3 occasions and I reached out to my salesperson at Smithtown for it to be rectified. January, Feb 6th and March 24th. Each call to the salesperson, he advised to send him a photo via text of the statement from Nissan requesting payment. As a result, each time I was told "i'm all good" or "its taken care of" or "You're good, don't worry about it".. Once again, here I sit in April, still waiting for my old lease to be paid since December. Its super frustrating, as a consumer when the terms of old lease payment are in the contract, that I have to take time out of my day to chase down Smithtown Nissan to pay off the car I turned in back in December. I've been a returning customer to this dealership for 4 straight Nissans, I will no longer go to this Dealership as the level of service I've received are unacceptable. Please be cautious when turning-in a car early for a new lease. More

Danny, my salesman, at Smithtown Nissan made the whole process easy and even enjoyable. He immediately put me at ease and for the first time I felt comfortable buying a car without feeling pressured.
