Courtious staff. Prompt service. They always replied my questions very politely. Their charges are reasonable. They showed courtesy dropping me at my house and picking up in their vehicle. Recently my fairly new Tiguan (2 months new) unexpectedly died and had to get towed into this dealership. I understand things happen with cars, so that is not the issue for me, but what I did have an issue w died and had to get towed into this dealership. I understand things happen with cars, so that is not the issue for me, but what I did have an issue with is the complete lack of promptness and service. Unfortunately, this car stopped working on the same day I had to catch a flight! When I got dropped off to the dealership to meet the tow in, I explained my circumstance and the only response that I got was "we are very busy today" or the other service person who looked like he might have been the scheduler said right in front of me "tell her she's going to be waiting for a while". Again, I expressed that I had a flight to catch, and I was told there no lenders available and no one to assist me with getting to the airport. In the end, I missed my flight, ended up spending about $300 in Ubers & had to rearrange my travel plans because I live alone and solely rely on a car for my means of transportation. When I expressed to the dealership my issues and concerns they passed me along Volkswagen Corporates phone number. First off, the wait time was over 3 hours, they have an option where you can leave a call back number, but then the callback system tells me they will call me on a Tuesday at some time (5 days later!) I decided to wait the almost 2 hours on hold (better then the 3 hours i was expecting) told them the entire story and their response.... "I don't know why they told you to call us, we cant help you, you will have to call back the dealer to complain or try a different dealership". End of the story is, I had a brand new car that just stopped working and it seemed that no one within VW cared to seem how much of an inconvenience this caused me. More

Very professional service tech they were able to locate the oil leak and hopefully it is repaired. So far so good. They had the car for 1 week but offered a loaner. Over the past 15 years, we’ve had 4 VW’s, 2 leased in 2006 and 2009 and 2 owned. We always took them to Smithtown Saab and Volkswagen to get serviced, from something small like a nail in the tire (freque 2006 and 2009 and 2 owned. We always took them to Smithtown Saab and Volkswagen to get serviced, from something small like a nail in the tire (frequent) and lightbulbs (not as frequent, but still about 1x a year), to more severe things like oil pressure switches and air pumps and manifolds and gas tank emissions pumps and modules. We are down to only 1 VW in the household as I sold my car, but we will surely bring it in for service when needed (even though it sits in our garage and only gets driven 2x a week to the dry cleaners). Tom took very good care of us over the years and I enjoy the hassle-free service visits. Unfortunately, I came to a point I just didn’t want to keep putting money into my old Tiguan and sold it, otherwise I would’ve held onto it until I drove it into the ground, it was time to retire ole lassy. I strongly suggest to anyone who has an older Tiguan to check for rear end leaks because the rear 4x4 had to be replaced. More
