We had an extremely frustrating experience at Smothers European between June 11–12, 2025. We were working with Sandra at Mercedes-Benz and fully prepared to move forward on a car we’d been eyeing for some European between June 11–12, 2025. We were working with Sandra at Mercedes-Benz and fully prepared to move forward on a car we’d been eyeing for some time. Instead, we were blocked by Ron from Volvo, who selfishly kept the vehicle for himself. We sat for over 3.5 hours at the dealership waiting, only to be told the car was “on hold” and no longer available to us—despite the fact that we were ready and eager to buy. What makes it worse is that management was informed and involved, yet still allowed the sale to be stolen. We weren’t just ignored—we were completely dismissed. Sandra was the only one who treated us with professionalism and care, and it’s a shame that internal politics and commission chasing were allowed to override fairness and customer service. This dealership failed us, and it’s clear there’s a bigger issue with how things are run. More
