I did etensive research on the internet for a SUV that would meet my needs. I had narrowed my list down to three models when I came across a listing for a Subaru Forester at Sommer's Subaru in Mequon, Wi would meet my needs. I called about the vehicle and was told to ask for Jeremy Stilb when I came in to see it. From the moment I walked in the door I was impressed with the dealership and with the salesman. Jeremy was very informative and I really appreciated his low key sales approach. He allowed me the drive time to get to know the vehicle and to discuss it with my family before making any decision. Sommer's was the first dealership we visited, just to get a feeling for what we wanted to purchase. Our old truck kept going and we visited MANY more dealerships. He called about several options, we came back and drove a few. He was never impatient or pushy and finally his perseverance paid off! He called with just that right truck and we bought it...from the first dealership we walked in to. The truck is beautiful. The service department actually cleaned it and presented it with pride. By far the best experience we have ever had buying a car. My partner and I visited the dealership to purchase one vehicle but felt so welcomed that we ended up buying two. Everyone from the excellent salesperson, sales manager, service manager and the business manager made this a great experience for both of us. We had gone to other dealerships prior to considering Subaru just because of familiarity with other brands.Friends recommended Subaru because of their experiences with reliability and performance in the winter, so we tried the local dealership. The salesperson allowed us to try three vehicles and spent about 5 hours with us letting us test drive and experiment with them. We liked the cars a lot and appreciated all the time we were allotted without pressure to compare between the models. In the past, we have both had bad experiences with dealers who do not seem to believe in their product or just generally lack enthusiasm - not the case at Sommer's. Our encounter with the staff at Sommer's was respectful and positive all the way through - in fact, it was great fun. GREAT JOB! More

We have been loyal Honda owners, but my wife wanted a smaller car with 4 or All wheel drive -- and so that is what led us to Subaru. At this point we knew what we wanted so I checked around with area Subaru dealers to get price and availability for the model and color that we desired. This led us to Chris Glass at Sommers Automotive -- who was very helpful in locating a car and getting it to their dealership for us. Communications with Chris were always responsive and helpful. When the car came in we scheduled a time to pick it up -- and Chris was VERY helpful in orientating us to the car and answering our questions. All-in-all an excellent experience... More
