Overall, our experience was excellent. We ordered in advance and date of arrival of our car was a little unsure. Arhat was fine with us, but it would have been nice if we had gotten a call or two while advance and date of arrival of our car was a little unsure. We knew exactly what we wanted and had been dealing with another Pittsburgh dealer who was not very customer service friendly so when we came to south hills kia, we didn’t require much in depth convincing or selling. When we came in to do our paperwork once the car was in, the credit app etc was very quick and the day we came back to pick up the car, our contact , Shawn was on vacation but he had arranged for Leigh Ann to help us. She was great and Dave even stopped by our desk to assure us the staff was working to finalize the papers to sign. I wish I could remember the staff member who did our signing - maybe Susan? She was very organized and thorough. All in all, I would say it was a good experience. I might suggest a more forthright method of presenting the extended warranty. It felt a little sneaky the way it was handled. Say upfront why you are asking questions about how we use the car and let customer know the questions are for the warranty rather than say Kia likes to track the sales. I knew anyway what they were for after a couple questions. I would have preferred to have the reason be more open rather than disguised. More
Took my new vehicle 2020 Kia Forte in for its 15000 mile checkup. Made a phone call to see if the service department had any open slots. Ed Daerr told me to bring it right in. Got it there, and they had me in and out in under an hour. They have always taken care of my vehicles. Truly an excellent group of people that take care of their customers. Would also like to commend Jamie Lucas and Jim Watts who have been so helpful in the past. And last but not least Eddie Aguirre who sold me the vehicle during the pandemic. Was never able to thank him personally as he was unavailable on the day that I took possession of my new vehicle. It’s because of these individuals, and the top notch mechanics, that I am a customer for life! More
