Forced upsells ruins this place In an effort to keep my warranty, I’ve been going exclusively to South Hills Kia for service. However, I long for the day I’m out of warranty, because In an effort to keep my warranty, I’ve been going exclusively to South Hills Kia for service. However, I long for the day I’m out of warranty, because with the amount of forced upselling there is here, I’m losing more money than if I had no warranty and went to trustworthy mechanics. My last visit epitomizes this. I was told on the previous visit that my brake pads were near replacing. I kept an eye on the pads and rotors, because I didn’t want to have a costly rotor replacement. Everything was fine, but the tech insisted my rotors were bad and forced me to spend an extra $200. Since getting appointments here is near impossible thanks to the terrible hours and limited Saturday hours, plus my need to keep repairs within the requirements of the warranty, I really had no choice but get stuck with an upsell I didn’t need. You should be ashamed of how you treat your customers. We’re people, not bank accounts for you to drain. But I do thank you for constantly bothering me about filling out surveys. I know you’ll do nothing about my concerns though, as I’m pretty sure that removing the most money from your customers’ pockets is the MO of this organization. More
