Communication is horrible. Left messages no call back most of the time. Never got a official explanation exactly what was wrong with my car. Found out myself it was a class action lawsuit with KIA cars is the reason why my engine was replaced for free per KIA corporate staff. Car in the shop for 2 months. Never got a loaner. Was promised a loaner multiple times never happened, was given dates that my car was going to be finished always got pushed back. Emailed the manager to get some clarity of my situation never got a follow up response. Left a message requesting for a inspection to be done since my inspection lapsed while in their care. It wasn’t done. So I had to go to another shop to get things up to date with for inspection and to pass inspection after I already went without a car for 2 months. It was in their care that could of been done. No empathy for my situation. Only time I got a call from them was to tell me I needed a new engine and my warranty authorization was denied. Never a follow up on good news. What’s going on. I always had to call them to see what’s the status of my vehicle. My situation was already frustrating and they literally made it worse. I had to physically go up there to talk to the manager for him to just give me a runaround reason why it’s taking forever for my car to get fixed. I understand things can be out of their control but the communication was horrible. Before my engine went out I was trying to call and make a appointment regarding my dash lights coming on. Couldn’t get a appointment or a call back. Then it took me 2 weeks to even book a appointment when my engine did go out because the appointment answering service kept misunderstanding me and thinking I wanted recalls done. Was supposed to call me back with appointment availability never got a call back. And when I called they said we will call when there’s availability. So I eventually made a appointment online to get me in. Now my car is running very smooth. And I feel like they did a good job in fixing the issue. When I picked my car up. I got zero explanation what was done. If any new parts have a warranty. No nothing. Just here’s your keys and bye. More

I recently purchased my car with a platinum warranty. Two months later my car wouldn’t start correctly. I called to bring it in and told they were booked until the following month. He then told me I could bring it in, but he probably wouldn’t be able to look at it for days. I asked about getting a rental that was promised when I was sold the warranty. I was told my premium membership included a rental car. The manager told me that a rental couldn’t be issued until he looked at my car and it has to be a warranty issue. So now I’m stuck without a car and no one can tell me when they can look at my car. Upon calling the warranty company, I found out that the rental wasn’t completely covered, it was still $40/day. I attempted to leave a voicemail with administration twice and no one returned my calls. On day 7 of having my car, I finally received a call. They told me that my car battery was low, not dead so it wouldn’t be covered under warranty. So my car was the dealership for 7 days and if I wanted it fixed I had to pay $355 for a new battery. How is this okay? I purchased my car at the end of September and the battery goes 2 months later. I did buy out my lease but the car just reached 30K miles. I was sold a warranty assuring me that I should because they will give me a rental car. That was complete wrong information. This was a terrible experience. More
