I bought a new 2026 CRV a few weeks ago and noticed the GPS electronic display did not work. The speed readings jumped back n forth between numbers and was a clear indication of an electronic malfunction. GPS electronic display did not work. The speed readings jumped back n forth between numbers and was a clear indication of an electronic malfunction. Lots of people at this dealership tried to “help” including my salesperson and technicians. They test drove it, told me they replicated the GPS problem with Google Maps and Waze. First I was told it was an Apple Car Play issue, then a Google Maps issue (even though Waze didn’t work either). They kept telling me it wasn’t their or Honda problem, the blame kept shifting to Apple and Google when it was the Honda parts failing to work. They gave me a 2025 CRV loaner and the GPS applications worked just fine so obviously the unit in my car was defective. I asked for a new car replacement but it was denied. They also refused to do any repair. I would not buy a car here because this dealership will not genuinely take responsibility to resolve your problem. They also said this infotainment problem exists in the 2026 CRV and HRV models so do not buy any of these until Honda and/or the dealership agrees to fix the problem! I’ve also reported this problem to the State Attorney General - if it is as widespread of a problem as they say and there isn’t a fix for it then a recall is warranted. More
