South Tacoma Honda - Service Center

I recently had an appointment made by the South Tacoma Honda Service Department for a factory recall notice for our 2024 CRV. The department called, made the appointment and I brought the vehicle in at th Honda Service Department for a factory recall notice for our 2024 CRV. I was met by a service representative who took the required information & my keys and directed me to the first available Service Writer. He verified my appointment & the reason, filled out the required work order and arranged for a free Uber ride home. He informed me that Dani would call in 3-4 hours when the vehicle was ready for pick up. Dani called at the designated time and informed me the vehicle was ready and activated my free Uber ride back to the dealer. Upon my return Dani went over what services were provided and directed me to my vehicle. All of this service was first call and without any delays or complications. Bad service experience! Took my 03 s2000 for oil change and when picking up I realized there was door ding with chipped paint. I brought it upto service adviser and they told me I can bring it back tomorrow morning and they will take care of it. Picked it up And it looked terrible, ding was still visible and crappy touch up paint job! All this time I parked my car far away to prevent dings and south tacoma honda service gave me nice door ding with chipped paint and crappy job trying to fix it. Now it's a eyesore! Never taking my honda for service here.... More

Great Service Team! Chad the Service manager and his team went to bat for me on my car that was service elsewhere and they put my plate guide on backwards on the timing b Chad the Service manager and his team went to bat for me on my car that was service elsewhere and they put my plate guide on backwards on the timing belt which resulted in a shredded timing belt. They worked with the dealer that put the belt in and the dealer came out and saw the work, which resulted in them helping to pay the bill. I learned a valuable lesson in trying to get the work done the cheapest way I can, from here on out South Tacoma Honda has earned a service customer for life...there is something to be said about knowing the work was done correctly the first time. Great team, thanks for all you did for me. More

Too many mistakes They have had 2 mistakes in less than 2 years, requiring extra trips and they don't apologize or offer a coupon. They broke my rear wiper off washing They have had 2 mistakes in less than 2 years, requiring extra trips and they don't apologize or offer a coupon. They broke my rear wiper off washing my car during an oil change and forgot to adjust the emergency brake after replacing my rear brakes. Especially with the brakes they made me feel like it was my fault and took over 2 hours to readjust it, even though it was their fault. They definitely need better customer service. More
