I received a letter that promised 2.9% and a monthly payment of $305 per month. American Honda did not honor that, which was a great disappointment to me and my family after owning an Accord and being payment of $305 per month. American Honda did not honor that, which was a great disappointment to me and my family after owning an Accord and being a loyal Honda customer since 1988. COVID-19 caused many problems for me and my family but I did not miss any payments nor did I request any Honda assistance, yet, I was denied the 2.9% rate. This denial resulted in an increase of over $40 a month and an additional three payments! I believe that American Honda should reconsider and honor that was sent to me via mail, under the COVID-19 reality and the fact that, once again, I helped your Company by purchasing another vehicle, even though the style has not changed. The “Hook-and-Switch” tactic should not be a part of your Company’s plan to sale vehicles not should you treat loyal customers this way!
