I bought a used car at Southeastern Honda 10 years ago, and I traded it in last week for another car there. Let me just say that I really wouldn’t think of buying anywhere else. This time, Ken was my sale and I traded it in last week for another car there. Let me just say that I really wouldn’t think of buying anywhere else. This time, Ken was my salesperson. I’ve heard horror stories of high-pressure, soulless, sleazy salesmen many times. Ken is not any of those things. He was, in fact, the exact opposite. He was patient, kind, and knowledgeable. He really came across as wanting to get me in the right car for me, at the best possible price. I mean, he really cares! Buying a car is an all day affair anywhere. He made the time fly with good conversion and genuine interest. He is a genuinely good person! He was able to answer all my questions, and made sure I understood those answers. He was always making sure that I was comfortable too. He offered coffee and water, a seat when waiting, made sure I knew where the restrooms were, and even asked if I was warm enough. I never got the impression Ken was fibbing about the time it would take, or the deal he was offering me. There was no impression that there was someplace else he’d rather be, or that he was more concerned about his commission, and getting it over with. I actually enjoyed our conversations! Near the end, he went the extra mile to make sure that I left there happy with my purchase. He had the car detailed and filled with gas. Ken even sat in my new car with me and showed me how to program the settings for the display, radio, hands-free phone, and other options. Everyone there was really nice, and I got the impression that they were happy working there. That says a lot about Southeastern Honda, because if the bosses are crumby, that affects everyone that comes into contact with them. I feel blessed that I chose Southeastern Honda, and that Ken was my salesperson. If you get a chance to have him as yours, take it! Trust me, you won’t regret it. More
