The purpose of my pre-arranged service appointment was getting a factory recall fix done on my KIA Forte. After bringing my car to the service bay, I waited for about 30 minutes, and then the service rep getting a factory recall fix done on my KIA Forte. I asked her about the factory recall, and she said the part needed for that wasn't in stock! Yet no one had informed me of the shortage and not to waste my time. When I purchased my 2005 Suburban I was given paperwork that states that I have free oil changes and state inspections for as long as I owned the vehicle. Upon arriving at the dealership and checking in I was blindsided by the service writer bluntly states that this was my last free oil change. I protested and was giving snidley that I had not have all the service done at the dealership so they would not honor the warranty any longer. I have gotten the oil changed there for 20 years and no one has ever said anything about a change in the policy and when it was implemented. Really disappointed at this sudden change in policy.
