Unsure about service department under new ownership. Arrived prior to 8AM appt. Around 8:35, a guy trying to bounce around and give updates to those waiting in lounge area states that my vehicle is com Arrived prior to 8AM appt. Around 8:35, a guy trying to bounce around and give updates to those waiting in lounge area states that my vehicle is coming off rack and I should be out soon. At about 8:45 walked out to get some fresh air and my vehicle was parked in the lot where finished vehicles are parked. Around 9:45 I was noticed waiting in the service department. I asked for the status of my vehicle since I had been watching it for an hour. I was told the service advisor was having an issue and was restarting the computer. It was another 15 min before they finally brought me my keys. The tv in the lounge area appears to be controlled by a crack addict with ADHD because it changed channels every 1-2 minutes and randomly repeated the same 1-2 minutes of tv over and over. On the bright side, unlike Southern GMC’s sales department, I got my vehicle back before I had to threaten to call CPD! More

I brought my vehicle in for service and have a recall performed. My appointment was for oil change, tire rotation and recall. When i picked my vehicle up i was notified that the recall part had to be ord performed. My appointment was for oil change, tire rotation and recall. I purchased a 2018 Chevy silverado 1500 from hall before it was Southern. I have had problems with the smart screen ever since i bought it. I came into the service dept and explained the problem with my it was Southern. I have had problems with the smart screen ever since i bought it. I came into the service dept and explained the problem with my service advisor and she said to bring it in when it happens again. Well during the next week I had a turn signal go out and I replaced the bulb and then it did it again a few days later. I brought the truck in and it was found to have a after market 7 way plug which was shorting out the turn signal. While the truck was in the shop they could not find the problem with the screen. I replaced the 7 way plug with yours and added a brake controller. During the time the truck was in the shop I researched the screen problem and guess what I found out. IT IS A COMMON PROBLEM with this series of trucks. I can not believe that my service advisor did not know this. I feel like I was taken advantage of in the fact that the problem existed when I bought the truck and that the service advisor knows that these trucks have this problem. I am not saying she knew this truck had a problem but she knows of the problem. PULL IT UP ON YOUTUBE and you can see for yourself. More
