I went in for a state inspection and mentioned a noise coming from under the cab. They charged me for the inspection and a so-called diagnostic fee of $200 to look under my truck, yet nothing was actually coming from under the cab. They claimed the issue was my sway bar, but when I checked it myself, there was nothing wrong with it. Charging $200 just to give an incorrect answer is unacceptable and reflects very poor ethics. They took immediate action to correct a problem with the type of power steering fluid added to my vehicle the day before.
