I paid over $200 to have my differential fluid changed due to excessive grinding noise. Upon picking it up, the noise was still there. I drove it 2,000 miles to see if it would go away. It didn't. I took it back and stated my dissatisfaction, telling them ther eis a service bulletin and I suspected the mechanic never put the limited slip lubricant in as required. The inspected it and then called saying the differential needed replacement. Also, they charged me $200 to analyze that. I took the car home and changed the fluid myself the next day, using the fluid viscosity recommended in the service bulletin and adding the 4 oz of limited slip fluid. The grinding noise IMMEDIATELY stopped and has not returned. I wasted over $400 and had to do it correctly myself. I sm even more upset because I told them what the problem and fix was but was ignored. More

My car was swerving to the right on the interstate when the breaks were applied. The service department did an analysis for $200, replaced an upper control arm for $600 and charged for an alignment. All well and fine but when I went out of town on a trip this weekend the problem had not been resolved. It is very dangerous in dense traffic at interstate speeds. The lack of communication during the initial service call and after has been very unprofessional. I will never purchase a car from Southern Greenbrier again. More

I've had all service (Company Fleet and Personal vehicles) completed at the dealership for 15 years. Unfortunately, this was one of the not-so-great visits. * The cost of the repairs was almost double what online research suggested. * I dropped the vehicle prior week and requested pickup for use the following weekend. * I was advised the vehicle would be completed as requested and cleaned. * At 4PM the following Friday, too late to be completed for the requested weekend, I'd still received no call to advise on vehicle status. * I called the Service Department (2) times and was advised I'd receive a call back. * Finally, after no call, I called -- to find the Service Team had all gone home. * I finally received a call -- advising the parts had just come in and that my vehicle would not be ready until the following Monday. * I received a call on Saturday advising my repairs had been completed -- unfortunately, too late to pick up or use the vehicle for the weekend. * I will now need to make arrangements to pick up the vehicle one day this week (I drive from Newport News daily). After many years of great service, this visit was disappointing...... More
