Last weekend I was comparing the Forester and the Outback with my daughter and this weekend I bought an Outback. It was a big step up from my 26 year old dinosaur vehicle. Nick Knutson was very helpful - the paperwork went very smoothly. It was a great experience all around. SO Subaru really does live up to their reputation. More
Nothing but professional! We recently purchased our 7th Subaru from Southern Oregon Subaru and our third from Bob Adams. (An early purchase was with General Manager Randy Nadalmia!) There isn't high enough praise for Bob's professionalism representing the dealership and Subaru. In addition to trusting our Subaru purchases with Bob, we have recommended him to friends and family who report the same level of professionalism before, during and after their Subaru purchases. All departments of the dealership work to ensure that each customer's experience is excellent; if not, they work at making sure any flaws in the experience are corrected to the customer's expectations. In addition, the Rogue Valley is fortunate to have an outstanding Subaru dealership that supports local non-profits...and it's pet friendly! More
Waste of time and money, made problems worse I brought in my car a while back because it was making a horrible noise when turning the wheel, which I figured was the power steering pump. When I bought it in, I brought this to the attention of the service rep who was "helping" me, named Drew, and even told him that I thought it was the pump. They diagnosed the problem as being the rack and pinion, which I actually believe needed to be replaced, replaced it and sent me on my way. The noise continued, so I had to bring it back in (from 30 min away) for them to then tell me in was in fact the steering pump. I left my car there on a Wednesday or Thursday, saying I could pick it up by end of day Friday. I get a call the next day telling me they need to order the part and my car won't be available for pick up until TUESDAY! So I finally drive back up, get my car, and make two turns out of the parking lot when it just dies on me in the middle of the street, not 50 feet from the dealership. I'm able to start it again and so I bring it back around, where they tell me the car needs to "re-learn its idle" after a plume of smoke had come out the exhaust. I drove it home and since then my car continues to die, accelerate erratically, suck gas, and cue the check engine light, constantly putting my car into limp-home mode. According to my access port, the fuel system is running rich. NONE of this ever happened until I picked it up from the dealership for the second time. Worst of all, I called in (today is 3/4) and they tell me they won't have a loaner car for me until the 17th, showing no remorse for the situation they put me in, making all of this my problem due to their incompetence. I understand my car is an '08 but it has about 60k miles on the engine, has been serviced regularly, and properly maintained as a whole. This kind of treatment and service is completely ridiculous, unprofessional, shady, and disgraceful. If you drive a Subaru, like many of us in the Rogue Valley do, do yourself a favor and get your car serviced anywhere but here. You've lost a valued customer. More
