So I took my jeep into the dealership because I had a check engine light on. I was pretty sure I knew why it was on but I wanted an expert opinion. I got the diagnosis back and the person I spoke with told me I needed to have a part replaced that would cost me $2900. I thought it was the alignment causing the issue and asked the service rep if I could get an alignment done and was told no because they were all booked up, no attempt to fit me into any schedule no attempt to try and work me in nothing. So I got my vehicle paid the $230 diagnostic fee and then took it to pep boys and had an alignment done and wouldn't you know it the check engine light went off. So in essence I paid $230 for an incorrect diagnosis and if I had allowed them to the dealership would have charged me $2900 for work that was not needed. This makes me VERY leery of using this dealership in the future. What sucks is I have a new Dodge durango with lifetime warranty and the service is with them so I am contmeplating just getting rid of the durango. More
