As over 30 years of being Southgate Lincoln (Mercury) customers, we decided we wanted a plug in Hybrid Escape. Our long time salesman recommended and referred us to Don Daniels at Southgate Ford. We dealt with him by phone due to covid, and he has been wonderful. Due to battery problems our first ordered car was scrapped, and we went thru the reorder process with Don again. His patience with our indecisiveness as we had to revise options was so appreciated. Many times in the process he checked with his Ford Representative to make sure of different situations. The second car we ordered took forever due to chip shortage and plant closures due to covid and other reasons. He kept us advised of what was happening. One day, more than a year after we had ordered our first Escape, Don called to advise us that he had our car! That actually started a period of much more work for him as we finalized the sale. We had some things that were different than when we ordered the first car, and as it was scrapped we were eligible for incentives in place at the time each car was ordered. He facilitated each problem/change with grace, and friendliness. He helped us try to complete Ford Pass and most of the functions of the Hybrid, electronic filled car, no easy task. We are VERY pleased with the car, and more than satisfied with the service by Don Daniels. More
