When I made the appointment on-line I asked to be dropped back at my home to wait. I had good medical reason for this. However, the service guy immediately said Lake Station is out of your range for the se back at my home to wait. I had good medical reason for this. However, the service guy immediately said Lake Station is out of your range for the service. I pointed out that I lived at the junction of 6 and 65, just 10 minutes away.. The service guy immediately changed his statement, saying it was so close the servicing would be done by the time they made the round trip. He had me wait ten minutes, then came back and told me their driver was "out to lunch" for the next 30 minutes. Up to this point he has claimed that Lake Station is too far, immediately followed by a complaint that it was too close and not worth the effort. Then, after 10 minutes away he returned and told me their driver was out to lunch for 30 minutes. So if they get a 30 minute lunch, the driver decided to start lunch after I had already been kept waiting 10 minutes. Also, the service items listed on line exceeded what the service guy chose to include - perhaps leaving the air filters off the list shortened repair time and supported his efforts to avoid letting me wait at home. It appears obvious that Southlake Nissan thinks of the offer to drop people home to await repairs is just for Southlake Nissan's convenience, and doing less maintenance is a worthwhile trade-off in order to avoid providing the wait at home service. I will probably look for other servicing opportunities in the future, not Southlake Nissan. Likewise if there is to be a future vehicle purchase. Other car dealers deserve a chance at my purchase. More

I made the appointment for a recall on my car weeks out, and this was months after I received the recall notice. While it was in, I also scheduled factory maintenance. I spoke about the recall with the pe and this was months after I received the recall notice. While it was in, I also scheduled factory maintenance. I spoke about the recall with the person who I dropped the car off. Spoke again to someone when they called to tell me the car was ready, but they offered to test drive it again to see if they could hear anything with the brakes (something I had asked them to look into). Then they called to tell me the car was ready again, but this time they mentioned that they didn’t do anything about the recall because they didn’t have the recall part. Not one mention of this until it was time to pick the car up. And this was the whole reason I brought it in in the first place. Then when I picked it up, the guy said everyone knew the recall kit wasn’t available yet. But not one mention of it to me, who took the day off work to get it taken care of. Absolute terrible communication. More
